| Prof. Yap Chee KongUniversiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia Prof. Yap has been working as a full professor at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) since 2021. Prof. Yap has been an academician for more than 23 years at UPM and 28 years as a researcher. Prof Yap has supervised more than 95 undergraduates and 35 postgraduate students in the fields of ecotoxicology, environmental biology, environmental sciences, water quality and ecotoxicological genetics. Now, he is very passionate on Environmental Psychology and Environmental Leadership. Prof. Yap has published more than 400 papers in refereed academic journals, 5 books (three published in NOVA Science Publishers, USA) and 37 book chapters. Until February 2025, 270 of them have been indexed in Elsevier’s Scopus with an H-index of 37 (>4331 citations). Prof Yap has also been invited as an honorary Editorial Board member for more than 50 international academic journals. Prof Yap has been an invited visiting researcher at National lnstitute of Environmental Studies, Tsukuba (Japan). Nationally, Prof Yap has been officially appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the INTI International University Malaysia. Internationally, being recognized as World's Top 2% Scientist, Prof. Yap has been officially appointed as a Visiting Professor at Kobe University until 2024 (Japan). Now, he has been appointed as a Research Fellow at Kobe University starting April 2024. |
| Prof. Youtao SongTianjin University of Science and Technology Prof. Youtao Song is a Second-Grade Full Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Tianjin University of Science and Technology (TUST), where he currently serves as Director of the Technology Transfer Center. He is also Secretary-General of the Global Arundo donax Carbon Net-Zero Industry Alliance and a Research Fellow of the National Key Laboratory of Bio-Based Fiber Materials. He received his Bachelor's degree from Nankai University, his Master's degree from Yamaguchi University, and his Doctorate from Tottori University, Japan, and completed postdoctoral research at the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His career in research administration includes service as Director of the Office of Scientific Research (2006-2011) and Dean of the School of Environmental Sciences (2011-2022) at Liaoning University, Director of its Institute of Environmental Economics and of the Liaoning Financial Research Center (2022-2023), Academic Dean of the School of Marine and Environmental Sciences at TUST (2023-2024), and Dean of the School of Economics and Management at TUST (2024-2026). He has been honored with the Special Government Allowance of the State Council and several provincial titles including Provincial Distinguished Expert and Leading Talent. He has led 8 national-level and 30+ other projects (total funding over RMB 35 million), received two second-class and two third-class Provincial Natural Science Awards, published 200+ papers (110+ indexed in SCI), authored 7 monographs (including An Introduction to Environmental Damage Forensic Appraisal), and holds 20+ authorized national patents. |
| Prof. Chunyang ChenSuzhou University of Science and Technology, China Dr. ChunyangChen is currently a Professor and Master’s Supervisor at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Suzhou University of Science and Technology. He completed his entire academic training at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Lanzhou University, from 2009 to 2018, successively earning a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry. His primary research interests include fluorescent sensing of environmental pollutants, automated environmental monitoring equipment, and data fusion algorithms for environmental monitoring. He has served as Principal Investigator for projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and a sub-project of the National Key Research and Development Program, as well as for multiple industry-funded (horizontal) projects. He has published over 40 SCI-indexed papers with an h‑index of 19. In teaching, he offers courses such as Environmental Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Physics, and Modern Environmental Monitoring Technology. In 2025, he was selected for the Jiangsu Provincial Youth Science and Technology Talent Support Project. He is a member of the Chinese Chemical Society, the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, the Jiangsu Province Analytical Testing Association, and the Jiangsu Society of Environmental Sciences. In terms of professional service, he serves as a consultant for several enterprises and has long been a regular reviewer for internationally renowned academic journals including Analytical Chemistry, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Journal of Hazardous Materials Letters. |
